RBC DI/IE Team logo
Around December 2022, during the Royal Bank of Canada, P&CB Digital Design Year-End Showcase, each team was invited to present themselves. I took this as an opportunity to do something fun with our team and initiated a logo design activity.
A few of us participated, and we treated it as a light, constraint-free creative exercise—something outside our usual day-to-day work. I kicked things off with some moodboarding and early explorations, and we quickly built on those ideas together.
The logo I designed ended up being selected for our internal DI events. With the help of a teammate, it even made its way onto people’s MacBooks, notebooks, and home office, which was honestly the most fun part—seeing the logo come to life.
DI/IE team socials - Certificate design
In Feb 2026, our team’s social committee decided to create internal awards to recognize great work within the design team, and I volunteered to design the certificate.
This was a small but meaningful project—focused on making recognition feel a bit more thoughtful and special. The final design was simple, flexible, and worked well for our internal needs. It’s now being used for monthly performance shoutouts across the team.
